SIDI Diablo GTX Cycling Shoe,Black/Black,48 M EU (US Men's 13 M)

Bought this shoe a few weeks ago in hopes of avoiding the use of booties on my long, wet Seattle commute. They look cool (if you can say that about a bike shoe) and keep my feet totally dry and warm despite mother nature's attempts to soak/freeze me.My only gripe is that the heel of this shoe doesn't seem to "cup" my heel snugly; walking around in the shoe you can feel your heel slip up and down a bit - something I'd never experienced with any other SIDI shoe. Perhaps a ratchet buckle could have solved this? No idea. On the bike this completely unnoticeable, but it's kinda irritating when you're walking about.Overall - a stellar product that's well worth the money if you spend a lot of time in the rain and hate booties.

SIDI Hydro GTX Cycling Shoe,Black,48 M EU (US Men's 13 M)

I'm a retired Cat. 2 competitor from the '80's, now just fighting my own Battle of the Bulge. I'm used to riding throughout the year and 40 miles on a sub-freezing day isn't out of the question for me. Struggling in the early years with foot warmth left me with pretty poor circulation though, and that struggle continues. I have high hopes for these shoes to remove the last barrier I have to cold weather riding.I just received these but haven't been able to do more than try on and fit cleats (sold separately!), rode a couple hundred meters to adjust. I'll update this in the future weeks as I put some colder miles on them here in Upstate NY. But I wanted to submit an answer for anyone else in the market, to the main question I had: what size should I get?I wear a size 44.5 Sidi Ergo2 that fits like a glove...in the summer, with thin, or no socks. I bought size 46 Hydros (no half sizes) and these will do nicely. But I expect to wear a thick winter calf-high sock and use a Polarwrap Toasty Feet Insole. I already tried this setup and the fit just starts to feel a little snug around the front of my feet. If this proves to be too restricting I know I'll be able to pull out the Polarwraps and use some chemical warmers. I've had no success with these in the past but I blame that on the lack of room in my usual shoes, already snug but with a thin "Sportwool" sock, and it. I theorize there wasn't enough space for the chemical reaction to work since they'd warm right up when I…

Shimano Men's Elite Racing Custom-Fit Triathlon Cycling Shoes - SH-TR71 (WHITE/SILVER - 41)

I found this shoe to be very lighweight and stiff which was what I was looking for in a tri shoe. Also this shoe feels comfortable and even looks good. Fits just fine as is and if you take it to a local shimano dealer for the heat-mold it fits like a sock. Easy on/off for quick transition.

Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon Lite Shoe - Men's White/Blue Vernice, 45.0/Mega

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 starsOutstanding Cycling Shoe -The 6.6 is highly recommended, July 6, 2011 By Keith (LA) - See all my reviewsPurchased these shoes to replace my 2 year old Genius 5 Carbon shoes. Wow what a difference right out of the box. I ordered them a little late so I received them the night before a century race leaving no time to break them in. The shoe performed flawlessly, highly recommended. I guess this is a case of getting what you pay for. They are expensive shoes, but worth it.

Sidi Men Mountain Bike Shoes Spider SRS Lorica Black Vernice 43

I'm very glad I purchase this item since my last bike shoe, a Specialized Comp MTB, disintegrated during a 600km MTB stage race last November (to be fair it had 2 years of heavy use). I then decided to acquire a Sidi shoe since it is well known for its toughness and comfort. I can say I'm very pleased with both features. On top of that it is has a very beautiful design. The only thing I'm not 100% sure of is the Sole Replacement System. From one side it's awesome to have the option of replacing only the sole (instead of the whole shoe), but on the other hand it seems that Sidi made a softer sole so it would decrease its life... my partner used a Sidi Spider and had to replace his sole after the race while most part of our friends did not face this issue (using other Sidi models). The bottom line: go for it if you want a solid, comfortable and yet beautiful Bike shoes! So far I have no regrets at all.

Lake Men's CX330C Cycling Shoe,Pearl Blk/Silver,9.5 M US

I purchased these shoes about a year ago and probably put only 20 rides on them, the BOA system broke and while BOA has been great to work with, the problem is with the shoe, not BOA. LAKE doesn't have a customer service department, period. Buy at your own risk, if anything goes wrong, LAKE is nowhere to be found...it's unlike anything I have ever seen.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 starsWarm, Dry and Roomy, February 1, 2009 By J. Sprague (Eugene, OR United States) - See all my reviews(REAL NAME)  I have a size 49 foot and ride in Oregon (all winter!). These shoes fit slightly larger than my regular Sidi Genius road shoes but work really just the same! My feet are dry and my whole body is warmer now, allowing longer rides. If you are a winter rider, these shoes are a must.

I had never tried Lake before. I didn't know what I was missing! These shoes fit like a glove. The BOA system is a dream and snugs the shoe to your foot without causing rubbing or hotspots. It is a stiff, comfortable shoe. Any professional rider would be happy with this shoe. I have put 1000 miles into them and they are still like new!
